In the wake of the terrible 2020 Holiday Farm Fire, and the on-going pandemic, thank you for supporting the first-ever Caddisfly Concert and bringing live music to the Mckenzie River Valley. Fellow music lovers, we will gather Sunday, June 26, 2022, in the quaint town of Vida, Oregon, 45667 McKenzie Highway. Gates open at noon, and the music kicks off at 1:00. Our gracious hosts are Chris and Leian DeLeon, and the venue is their beautiful and spacious Gate Creek Ranch.
Bring your blankets, chairs and, if you wish, your own picnic. For you south-of-the-border-food-lovers, Ta-K-Arde food carts will offer their delicious Mexican-style plates. Valley brewers Plank Town and Iron Forest Brewing will offer a variety of brews, and Mckenzie Crest Wines will wet your appetites for more. Proof of age is required for those wishing to imbibe.
The concert is sponsored by the McKenzie Chamber of Commerce and the McKenzie Community Development Corporation. It is a fundraiser for the Vida Community Center, which was destroyed in the fire.
Three family-friendly touring bands will entertain on a brand new stage. Our musical tastes may vary, but these bands perform a variety of songs, from bluegrass and R&B soul, to country and a little bit of rock & roll.
Free parking on-site, but please no overnight camping, outside alcohol, smoking or pets.
Tickets: $25/person: 8 years and younger FREE!
Everyone is welcome, and long live live music!
